Containerisation technologies in the cloud and elsewhre - EVENT IN FRENCH

The CNES SIL COMET (COMmunities of ExperTs, ex CCT) organised a seminar on “The Cloud and containerisation” on 15 March 2018 in Toulouse.
The changes in approach resulting from the Cloud (infinite resources on request, Pet vs Cattle) have significantly accelerated the development of application Containerisation tools. The principle of packaging the application, its dependencies, and also the associated operating systems within a small image is in the process of revolutionising software development methods and production (DevOps).
The aim of this event was to present feedback and experiences from the implementation of containerisation technologies (Docker, but not only...) in different environments (the Cloud, but not only...). Time for discussion around the subject has been included in the programme.
